I use the Five Element System (or Five Phases system) of medicine and acupuncture, developed by J.R. Worsley.  The five elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood are used as a classification system for all of phenomenon.  Five Element acupuncture is medicine of the present moment and the present moment is in a constant state of change and transformation.

I study and practice Shen-Hammer Pulse Diagnosis and combine it all with my own kind of Acu-Reiki, a combination of qi gong therapy (the oldest therapeutic modality of Chinese medicine.  It is  a comprehensive system of health care addressing the root cause of symptoms or disease, and treats the client as a whole), craniosacral therapy, and acupressure.

I draw upon my ability to sense, follow, and assist energy flow, developed through dedicated study and self-cultivation. I also teach qigong exercises and meditations based upon Five Element Traditional Diagnosis and classical differential diagnosis to restore health and wellness.

Along with healing presence, gentle needling technique, and holistic treatment, I have knowledge and experience with various Classical Chinese Medicine modalities.  I bring 45 years of life experience to the treatment room, twenty one in the hands-on healing arts in private practice acupuncture and in substance abuse recovery settings.

I am interested in the art and science of consciousness and have learned that the more awake we are, the more responsible we become and the more intentional we must be.  By knowing the best part of ourselves we

relate to the best part of others, and together, we create the future.
